Intro to Strength Training is a 60-minute workshop with Group Fitness Instructor, B, designed to introduce you to the CASCADA gym and the fundamentals of our strength training.
You’ll learn how to safely and effectively use key equipment, including the squat rack, machines, and free weights, while reviewing basic setup and form for foundational lifts like the squat, bench press, and Romanian deadlift.
This session also covers gym etiquette, safety features for lifting alone, and simple tips for structuring your workouts, with time for demonstrations and Q&A.
This workshop will not include a full strength workout, however, please do come dressed in athletic attire as there will be opportunities for movement throughout the workshop.
